How to make a simple body butter

There are many different recipes for making body butter, but here is a simple recipe that you can try at home:



Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup shea butter

  • 1/4 cup cocoa butter

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup avocado oil

  • 1/4 cup beeswax

  • 10 drops of essential oils (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a double boiler, melt the shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and beeswax until they are fully melted and combined.

  2. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

  3. Add the avocado oil and essential oils (if using) to the mixture and stir well.

  4. Pour the mixture into a container and let it cool and solidify completely.

  5. Once the lotion has solidified, it is ready to use. Simply scoop out a small amount and massage it into your skin as needed.

Note: If you want to create a whipped body butter, pour the mixture into a bowl, place in the fridge until the mixture starts to solidify a little and whip with a hand mixer until desired texture is achieved. Spoon body butter into containers.
